Ultravasan - The biggest challenge of the Vasaloppet

Running the same distance as other skiers or cyclists is extreme in so many ways. This is a real challenge for those who love endurance and training. Together with 2500 other participants, you'll take on the classic route between Sälen and Mora, through varied landscapes, large forests and open moors.

Thanks to its location south of the start, Torgåsgården is usually a popular accommodation during all Vasaloppet races and Ultravasan is no exception. In addition to Ultravasan 90 km, Vasastaffeten is also incredibly popular and many teams stay with us in one of our 11 rooms that take 2-6 guests. With a large west-facing veranda, you can enjoy the sunset over the lake, a cold drink and a dip in the lake together with the team with us. Many choose to stay 2 nights to be rested for the journey home. If you want one of our hearty lunch boxes, it can be pre-ordered and heated in the kitchen when it suits you.

When you cycle the nine miles between Sälen and Mora, you get to experience a lot. Magnificent nature, action-packed sections and historical sites. Recharge with us at Torgåsgården before the adventure and stay cozy with us in one of our 11 rooms on the farm.

Many of our guests stay here for two or three nights. That way there is plenty of time to take part in everything that happens around the start, make the final adjustments before the start and even have time to cycle in beautiful Sälenfjällen. Start your morning with us with a fresh swim in our own lake outside the door and end the day with a pre-ordered lunch box that you heat up when it suits you. Of course, you have access to our kitchen and if you prefer, you can cook your own food. Bed linen, shower towel and cleaning of the room are always included when you rent from us.

Does 9 miles seem a bit long? You do know that there are several variants of the classic cycle route! Then maybe Cykelvasan 45 or 30 is more suitable. Read more at vasaloppet.se

Vasaloppet always takes place on the first Sunday in March each year. From the start in Berga village, just south of Sälen, the 9-mile race heads towards Mora. It is the world's largest long-distance ski race and the world's most fun weekend at Torgåsgården. With us, our guests stay comfortably in shared rooms and with full board. Our Vasalopp package extends from Friday to Sunday with the possibility of an extra night for Monday.

The package includes dinner on Friday evening, breakfast, lunch and dinner with dessert on Saturday and of course really early breakfast served already at 04.00 on Sunday morning. At the door on the way out, we leave bags of food for our guests to eat before the start or to save for later. Of course, you are welcome to book an extra night if you want to stay overnight until Monday. In that case, we will make sure that there is a lunch box to warm up when you get home after the race and breakfast bag to eat in peace and quiet when it suits. In other words, no stress!

Of course, bed linen and shower towel are included and we clean after departure.
